keto WEEKLY WEIGH IN: 10/16/19
Let’s be honest, I am an over achiever. This number is too low for me. Granted, it is shark 🦈 week so I am holding onto weight right now. But the competitor in me sees that number and is frustrated. Normally I would really let this get to me. I am almost a month in to low carb and just shy of 4 months PP. I have a small go that I am trying to reach by next Friday. I will be honest if I don’t reach that goal it will be hard not to be disappointed. I’m about 5lbs away from that goal. Here is to charging forward even when things don’t always go your way. 💗💗 •

This approach is too rigid for most people so many people follow a “Keto-Lite” or “Keto-Friendly” diet in which refined carbohydrates are restricted as the main point of the diet. The human body makes ketone bodies as part of normal metabolism while you are sleeping every night and the switch to fat-derived ketone fuels are part of the adaptation to starvation and this starts as soon as you stop eating overnight. To increase Ketone bodies while eating, you need to cut almost all carbs including those in fruits and vegetables. Over weeks your body can do fine on a height fat diet, but you may be too tired to exercise while you are adapting to very high fat/almost zero carbs. It is difficult to get the 5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables you need or adequate protein to control hunger and build muscle. Many Keto Diets reduce protein to 15% of calories since amino acids (alanine, glycine, and serine) are converted to glucose by the liver while you sleep or eat too little carbohydrate. The very strict form of Keto Diet works for some people. Many more are simply focused on reducing excess sugar and refined carbs which is already a goal of Balanced Nutrition, but you need simple sugars from a Sports Drink while you exercise. You can choose to emphasize using healthy fats or healthy carbs from fruits, vegetables, and some whole grains in your personal plan, but the right amount of Protein at about 30% of calories is the most important aspect of Balanced Nutrition and Healthy Active Lifestyle for your Best Personal Shape!! keto ¿Sabías que las grasas buenas tienen multiples beneficios? 🥰🥑.

Últimamente baso mi dieta en las grasas. Este cambio lo he dado porque tomé el patrón de la dieta #cetogenica #keto por un tiempo y me encantó. Básicamente no tenia problemas digestivos, la piel la tenía muchísimo mejor y tenía siempre mucha energía. También hay que decir que yo no la hice a rajatabla, seguía tomando fruta que me encanta y me sienta genial y algunos hidratos como las legumbres que ya sabéis que me encantan 🥰. No me gusta ningún extremo. .
Esta dieta se basa en principalmente comer en casi todas las comidas la mayor parte de ellas sean grasas buenas: 🔸 aguacate 🥑 🔸 aceite de oliva 🔸 mantequilla de cacahuete o cualquier fruto seco 🍯.
🔸 frutos secos 🥜.
🔸 huevos 🍳.
🔸 salmón o pescado azul 🐠.
PD: (pienso que estamos muy poco informados del tema Nutrición y debería ser básico). .
BENEFICIOS QUE HE PERCIBIDO: 
1️⃣ la digestión: para mi lo más importante. Tenia digestiones horribles y creo que se debía a alimentos tipo pasta o arroz: no me sentaban del todo bien. Ya no tengo hinchazón ni malestar. 
2️⃣ el pelo lo tengo más bonito que nunca y la piel me la noto mucho mejor. 
3️⃣ tengo mucha energía siempre a la hora de entrenar. ¿Sabías que las grasas son una super fuente de energía para hacer deporte? Son muy calóricos así que es por eso que depende del objetivo debes cuidar las porciones. 
4️⃣ Dicen que las grasas son muy buenas para las hormonas y que regulan todo nuestro sistema hormonal haciendo que funcione mejor. .
Recuerdo que siempre debes seguir un nutricionista si quieres hacer un cambio en la dieta, yo lo baso en mi experiencia. Que yo no eliminé ningún otro nutriente, solo prioricé el consumo de estas grasas en mis comidas. .
Comida de hoy: tomate 🍅, pepino 🥒, 1 aguacate 🥑 y salmón 🐠. Mostaza 😍💛.

Oduševljena sam ovim kruhom i koliko ga je ustvari jednostavno i brzo za napraviti.. što je meni jako bitno, jer se grozim toga da moram nešto mjesiti rukama, mješati,... nemogu slaba sam na ruke🙄
... e za ovaj kruh to nemorate, a uživat ćete u zalogaju više nego u klasičnon bijelom kruhu.. i mnogo je zdraviji! .
Za ovaj recept ja sam koristila;
75g lanenih sjemenki
75g sezama
75g oraha
75g sjemenke bundeve
75g suncokret sjemenke
3 jaja
1 žličica soli
1 žličica sode bikarbone
75ml vode
.
- sjemenke svake posebno sameljete u sjeckalici da bude otprilike brašnaste teksture
- pomješate brašna, dodate sol i sodu
- umutite jaja, dodate vodu - postepeno u jaja dodajete brašno i mješate
- ja sam u smjesu dodala i šaku sjemenki u komadu - kalup za pečenje obložite papirom i u kalup utisnete smjesu
- ja sam odozgo posipala sjemenkama, jer eto nema ih dovoljno 🤣
... s tim da sam odozgo posipala i chia sjemenke i kasnije si mislim što ih nisam i u smjesu dodala.. ( budem dr.put ) - pečete na 170-180c oko pola sata, ovisno o pečnici
- kruh je gotov kad se rubovi odlijepe od papira i kad vam čačkalica bude suha kad ju ubodete i izvadite

Kruh je poprilično zasitan i kaloričan, stoga je dosta da pojedete dva komada i siti ste.. ja sam ga mazala čvarkomazom i to mi je zaista bilo previše jer je i namaz bomba.. .
Nutritivne vrijednosti po komadu su otprilike ovakve; 128kcal, 5,4g protein, 11,3g masti, 3g UH od toga 1,7g vlakna.

keto Trying to make a starch free bread has been a challenge but I have finally found a good bread/english muffin recipe that is candida diet friendly, paleo, and keto! 
It tastes really good and you can make this dough into whatever you want (pizza crust, rolls, bread or English muffins) . .

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup egg whites, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 cup coconut flour, 5 tablespoons psyllium husk powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 3 tablespoons coconut oil. .

keto As I journal this morning in preparation for #carnivore75hard and explore my “why” I notice a theme coming up for me: 
SELF-BETRAYAL. 
This is what I ultimately risk by not completing this challenge. @the.holistic.psychologist made a post about self betrayal the other day, and it really struck me! I would be sooo pissed and adamant about sticking up for myself if someone else betrayed me; it’s time I stick up for myself TO myself! Temporary comfort is fleeting, but making and honoring a promise to yourself is powerful af. 
Don’t betray yourself. It is hard & UNCOMFORTABLE, but you have to acknowledge what you REALLY need. #disciplineequalsfreedom

2 hard boiled eggs, chopped and mixed with 2 tbsp mayo, 1/2 tsp mustard.

These keto raspberry cheesecake brownies are the perfect low-carb dessert 💫
4 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
6 oz. butter
1 cup erythritol
4 large eggs
1 cup almond flour
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
10 oz. cream cheese, softened
1⁄3 cup powdered erythritol
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp raspberry extract (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
6 oz. fresh raspberries
Preheat the oven to 350°F /175°C. Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate and butter on low heat. Add the sweetener and stir. In a large bowl, mix eggs, almond flour, vanilla extract and salt. Add the melted chocolate mixture and stir to combine. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Use a mixer to blend the cream cheese and powdered sweetener until creamy and smooth. Add the egg and mix well. Stir in the vanilla extract, raspberry extract, and lemon juice and then gently fold in the fresh raspberries. Drop large spoonful of the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter. Swirl the cheesecake batter into the brownie batter in horizontal and vertical lines. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until set.

keto I struggle on my weight journey every single day. There’s only a few times that I have every made my goal of drinking 100oz of water a day. Truth is I rather drink a Coke Zero. I use to go to the gym at least 5 days a week consistently, I haven’t done that in months. Sometimes people think a health journey is solely about weight and it’s not. I’m always going to keep it 💯 with everybody. I love old fashion root beer candy, and I have been struggling with that for the past month. Nobody is perfect, everyone has struggles even if they want to pretend they don’t, and this is my  TRUTH.

1. 500.000 pacientes cardiovasculares⁠
⁠
2. 60-70% habían sufrido un infarto agudo⁠

3. El 75% tenía los valores de colesterol dentro del rango “saludable” según el Dogma⁠

4. El 66% tenía oficialmente síndrome metabólico⁠

5. El dato CLAVE: casi el 100% tenían el colesterol HDL BAJO y los triglicéridos ALTOS.⁠

1. Si el riesgo según ellos es tener el colesterol alto, ¿por qué inventar medicamentos que elevan el HDL-C? Si el colesterol total (HDL+LDL) pasa de 200 te recetan estatinas ¿Por qué idean fármacos para subirlo?⁠

2. Si lo que importa es el LDL-C, ¿por qué no lo incluyen como factor a considerar en sus calculadoras OFICIALES de riesgo? La última que sacaron en UK se llama Qrisk3. Aparecen 20 factores de riesgo y el colesterol LDL no aparece por ningún lado. Atención: aparece el CÓDIGO POSTAL como factor de riesgo, pero no el LDL.⁠

3. Si en sus calculadoras incluyen el HDL bajo y los Triglicéridos altos como factor de riesgo, ¿por qué cuando vas al médico, sólo le preocupa el LDL?⁠

4. La respuesta reside en sus propios estudios. Diseñan uno, ven que el 75% de los pacientes tiene los valores de LDL que ellos recomiendan y aún así presentan problemas mortales. Por tanto no lo incluyen como factor de riesgo en sus calculadoras. Aún así, lo ignoran y te dan pastillas para intentar mantener el LDL en el rango que recomiendan.⁠

Sencillo. Muchas presiones. Con una dieta cetogénicaa, lo normal es que los triglicéridos CAIGAN AL MÍNIMO para una persona dada y el colesterol total suba (el HDL y el LDL). En estas condiciones nadie necesita medicamentos, pero ellos quieren venderlos. Además, las grasas saturadas suben el HDL-C y ellos prefieren inventar fármacos que lo suban (todos los ensayos clínicos con estos fármacos, se detuvieron por peligrosos para la salud)

Знакомо? А ведь каждый из этих постулатов является ложью и препятствует достижению нашей с вами цели - "здоровой красоты". Странно, что в наше время, когда информации вокруг столько, что не видеть и не слышать ее уже невозможно, до сих пор есть диетологи и врачи, которые транслируют это в массы.

Я не говорю про продвинутых читателей инстаграм, которые "в теме", а про людей, у которых нет времени читать информацию касаемо здорового образа жизни, и для которых врач - это непререкаемый авторитет.

Если будете читать нутрициолога с многолетним опытом @aleksandrapetrenko, то будете знать, как питаться по-настоящему правильно и сохранить здоровье.

Я тоже буду рассказывать вам о том, что есть, чтобы быть к тому же и красивой, иметь подтянутую кожу и здоровый румянец.
