🌞 Certified Organic Skincare Formulator 🌱 Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner 🤲🏼 Shop @moolitbeauty
utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna 1. What are Bach Flower Remedies?
~
In the 1930s, Dr. Edward Bach found a way to extract the vibrations of wild flowers & used these energetic extracts or remedies to successfully heal negative emotions in his patients. Today, thousands of practitioners, including me, use his flower remedies to help people who wish to heal their emotions & move forward in their life.
~
2. Which kind of emotions will I be able to heal using these remedies?
~
ALL of them! Depression, anger, loneliness, sensitivity to toxic people, being stuck in a toxic pattern, fears & phobias, anxiety, laziness, fatigue, unable to move on from a past incident, sleeplessness, indecisiveness, shyness, guilt, lack of confidence, & much more. It could be something as small as being unable to focus in class to as big as feeling suicidal.
~
3. I can relate to one or more of the emotions in the above list. How do I proceed?
~
All you have to do is visit @moolitbeauty , click on the shop link mentioned in it's description & book your first session.
~
I will email you back to confirm your booking & give you your time slot.
~
On the day of your session, I'll text you & we'll discuss your issues in length over WhatsApp.
~
4. How much would I be paying per session?
~
₹1100/- for your first session, which will last anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how many layers of emotions we uncover. It'll include the consultation fee + your remedy bottle + shipping cost. This remedy bottle will last you 3 weeks to a month.
~
Once your remedy is over, you can again visit the shop link on @moolitbeauty & book a follow-up session after which I'll monitor your progress & dispatch your refill. This would only take a couple of minutes so, you'd only have to pay ₹250/- + ₹100/- (shipping) for the refill bottle. If the follow-up exceeds 30 minutes, it'll be considered as a full session & you'll be asked to pay an additional ₹750/- after the session, which means ₹1100/- in total.
~
5. How much time will it take for me to heal completely?
~
Emotions that are on the surface will heal completely within a month or 2 & deep rooted ones will take a couple months longer.
~
See you soon ☺️ Happy healing 🌺

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Once upon a time, a young woman named Catherine met with Dr. Brian Weiss, a well known psychiatrist, to overcome her fears of drowning, choking, airplanes, darkness & death. Dr. Weiss used normal therapy on her for 18 months but, nothing changed.
•
One day, she went to a museum. While the guide was giving her a tour, she started correcting his information on Egyptian artifacts & all she said was true but, she couldn't have known those facts because she had never studied about that period in history. She narrated this incident to Dr. Weiss & he realised that this could mean that Catherine might have forgotten certain events from her past just like she didn't remember studying Egyptian art history & those forgotten events might contain the sources of her fears. So, he decided to regress Catherine to her childhood using hypnotherapy.
•
While in trance, she remembered her time as a 6 year old child but, that had little to do with her fears so, Dr. Weiss said, “Go back to the time from which your symptoms arise”, thinking that they could have begun while she was younger than 6. He was surprised to see what happened next.
•
Suddenly, Catherine started describing a life as an 18 year old girl named Aronda, in 1863 B.C. She even had a daughter which she realised was her niece from her current life. Aronda died later by drowning in a flood, trying to protect her child.
•
Next week when Catherine returned for another session, her fear of drowning was completely gone. So, Dr. Weiss excitingly regressed her again. This time she went to a life where she died of old age but, the intriguing part was that after leaving her body for the ‘in-between’ state where souls rested, she started channeling master spirits & guardian angels who wanted to send messages to Dr. Weiss, through her. To know which messages he received, you'd have to read the book!
•
It made such a huge impact on me that not only do I use my learnings from this book to ease people during Bach Flower Remedy sessions but, also, when I look back to the person who started reading this book, I realise how far I have come...🌺
•
You can swipe to read my favorite lines from the book, if you don't mind spoilers 😉 Tk cr.

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna I turn into a big drunkard in summers & I need atleast 2 different types everyday (non-alcoholic 😉). I keep switching from buttermilk to aam panna to jaljeera to shikanji to iced tea to sometimes even orange juice (even though it can be a little heaty but, I am a lover 🍊) but, a glass of Kshemya's Gut Coolant around 3 pm has become a daily habit!
•
The function is in the name. It cools the gut & its the need of the hour. It has hand plucked desi gulab, khus root, himalayan pink salt & cumin. It's simply delicious 🍹
•
I add 1 tbsp of the blend in a bottle with a glass of water & leave it to infuse for 2-3 hours on the kitchen platform till all the petals turn pale. Then I strain it & chill it. The first day, I let it infuse in the fridge but, the petals were still slightly pink after 3 hours so, now I let it infuse at room temperature first & then chill it later because as the water starts cooling in the fridge, the infusion process slows down. Whenever I feel like drinking it, I sweeten it with some mishri (as suggested by Kruchika, the founder of @kshemyaaa as mishri is light for our body in summer) & add a squeeze of lemon (thanks for the tip @pallavi_parwani 🍋) which enhances the taste & lowers the pH of the solution & changes the color from an earthy pinky brown to a blushing pinky red. You get that tartness of the lemon in the beginning, the earthiness of the khus in the middle & the note of cumin at the end which gives it such a complete & well-rounded flavour that I fall more & more in love with it everyday🌹
•
This lemony gut coolant can be served to guests during a summer party & can also be used strictly as a health drink during the day. There are no rules. Just that .... moderation is key 💦
•
Kshemya's Gut Coolant is a limited edition product which is only available during summers because Kruchika believes in being in sync with the season. It is priced at ₹600/- for 100 gm & can be ordered by messaging @kshemyaaa on instagram directly 🥀

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Nytarra Love Is In The Hair Herbal Oil Review 🌿
°•
Ingredients:
•°
1. Coconut & castor oil for nourishment.
•
2. Fresh aloe & brahmi for soothing dry & dandruff-prone scalp.
•
3. Methi sprouted in the aloe & fresh paan leaves for preventing hairfall.
•
4. Curry leaves & hibiscus flowers & leaves for stimulating hair growth.
°•
Aesthetics: Yellow-green hair oil. No strong odor. Solidifies in winter. 1 year shelf life. Strong & leak-proof glass bottle.
•°
Claims: All-in-one hair oil for hair loss, premature greying & dandruff.
°•
Me: Oily scalp prone to itchiness & dandruff because of excessive sweating. Silky, straight, uncoloured hair.
•°
My experience with this hair oil: I have been using it since January. It hasn't worked a lot on my dandruff but, dandruff shampoos often dry up hair ends & speed up split ends because of their clarifying nature & after I have started using this oil, I neither see any dryness nor frizz & nada on the split ends too! Also, since this oil is so rich with plant life, I feel a kind of healing energy in it. Whenever I use this oil, I feel relaxed & powerful at the same time 💆
°•
Plus, if you've been suffering from hairfall due to external factors like damage caused by products, styling, colouring, pollution, etc. instead of nutrient deficiencies, then this hair oil will be a fantastic rescue remedy for you as well 🙆
•°
The only 2 things about which I cannot comment are whether it stops premature greying because I am not keeping track of my grey hair; I plan to age gracefully & I kinda like grey hair strands peeking through; I think they add personality & shine to boring black hair 🦓 ✨ & whether it boosts hair growth or not because I have never had any problem in growing out my hair naturally because of good genes 👩‍👧‍👦
°•
I recommend it for overall healthy hair care 🙌
•°
It is priced at ₹600/- for 100 ml of hair oil & it can be purchased by directly messaging @nytarra on instagram itself!
°•

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Thank you so much Dr. Poonam Jain @happiness_unlimited_ for being such a wonderful host to us in Mumbai & thank you for being who you are. I am so glad that I decided to experience my first past-life regression session under your guidance & it might appear that being so gentle, patient, understanding & thorough with your patients before, after & during the session must be a result of your training & experience in this field but, I believe that it has got a lot to do with the beautiful person you are big time 💗

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Satthwa Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Review 🌿
•°
Ingredients:
•
1. Almond oil + argan oil + jojoba esters for nourishment.
•
2. Aloe vera extract + glycerine + d-panthenol for hydration.
•
3. Lemon essential oil + tea tree essential oil for anti-bacterial properties.
•
4. Capryl glucoside + sodium methyl cocyl taurate + sodium lauryl sarcosinate + decyl glucoside + cocoamidopropyl betaine for cleansing & foaming action.
•
5. Polyquaternium-7 + polyquaternium-10 for anti-static activity.
•
6. Peg-12 dimethicone for softening.
•
7. Peg-150 distearate for emulsifying the oils & thickening the product.
•
8. Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride for conditioning.
•
9. Sodium benzoate + potassium sorbate for preservation.
•
10. EDTA for prolonging the preservation.
°•
Me: Silky straight hair + oily scalp prone to #dandruff + itching because of excessive sweating.
•°
Pros:
•
1. It works! I had not washed my hair with any anti-dandruff shampoo for a month before receiving this product so, I had mild dandruff. It's been more than 2 weeks since I've been using this & today my scalp is almost flake-free + the itchiness has reduced too 💆‍♂️
•
2. It's gentle! It's not the greenest dandruff shampoo but, it's much safer compared to what's already out there. Since they have not used sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) & it's cousins to boost the foaming action of this shampoo, it remains gentle & I don't feel the need to apply a conditioner or serum post-shampooing 🚿
•
3. It smells amazing! It's naturally fruity & uplifting because of the lemon eo unlike the usual chemical smells of dandruff shampoos 🍋
•
4. It's budget friendly! It only costs ₹500/- for 200 ml 🤑
•°
Not such a con: Since, it's a low-foaming shampoo, I need 4 pumps of it for my waist-length hair on days that I haven't oiled my hair & when I do oil my hair, it takes more than 2 washes to wash off the oil but, again....the mildness works in my favor because it doesn't strip the moisture away & my hair remains silky 😁
°•
Day 1 hair feels more voluminous, day 2 hair is perfect & day 3 starts making the scalp oily again but, this varies from person to person!!
•°
I recommend it 🙌

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Life didn't go as planned this month? If yes then, say hello to the Mercury Retrograde & also, bid farewell to it because it finally ended yesterday so, all your slowed down plans will start gaining momentum again & all those communication glitches in your work & relationships will start to resolve BUT, don't rejoice just yet because Mercury comes back to screw not just once or twice but, THRICE EVERY YEAR 🌩️
°•
Imagine you are driving & suddenly, the car behind you decides to speed up & race past you, leaving a big cloud of dust in your eyes. Thats exactly what a #MercuryRetrograde is! The speeding car is Mercury & the cloud of dust is the trouble you're going to be facing because of it & unless your car is entirely made of frigging black tourmaline, there's no escaping this at all 🏁
•°
Each year Mercury picks an element to have extra fun with & for the years 2019 & 2020, it has decided to pick the element of water & retrograde in the following water signs during 2019 🌊
°•
5-28 March: Mercury Retrograde in Pisces
•
7-31 July: Mercury Retrograde in Cancer
•
31 Oct-20 Nov: Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio
°•
In short, during these periods, all of us will get screwed but, these water signs will get completely screwed from all directions!
•°
How to survive this freakshow?
°•
Firstly, pre-pone all big decisions & new tasks to 3 weeks before the retrograde begins or postpone them to a week after it ends & secondly, listen to the small voice inside you before finalising anything. Pick intuition over research!
•°
Mercury governs communications & contracts & a retrograde looks like the planet is racing but, it's actually the planet taking a nap that means everything that the planet governs, slows down & even if you manage to get something done, it creates issues in the future! All Mercury wants to say is, “Who gave you permission to take decisions concerning my department while I was sleeping? You could have rested alongside me & started the work next month with double the energy! Now, throw away everything & start from the beginning 😛”
•°
This post is 1 month late & 3 months early so, that you remember what you survived this time & stay prepared for what's to come 💫

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Also, gift-worthy!! (Swipe to see the packaging 📲). This is the Lavender & Shea Butter Bar handmade by the lovely Tara of @nytarra using the cold-process soaping technique which reduces the amount of heat required for saponification (compared to the hot-process technique) ensuring that the integrity of heat-sensitive nutrients in oils & butters remain intact!
•°
Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, rice bran, soya bean & castor, shea butter, lavender essential oil & purple mica (only for the swirls on top).
°•
I got this bar in December but, I was using other body cleansers then so, I just started using this soap this month itself & I am really liking it a lot! It has a creamy lather, it doesn't leave my skin dry, it smells pleasant & the combination of minimal ingredients makes it budget friendly too which is great because a lot of you have been asking me about budget-friendly soaps that don't contain any nasties so, this can be a great option!
°•
All Nytarra soaps cost ₹200/- each + shipping & one bar can last you 20-30 days depending on the weight of the soap as it can weigh anything between 90-110 grams.

Also, gift-worthy!! •° Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, rice bran, soya bean & castor, shea butter, lavender essential oil & purple mica (only for the swirls on top). °• I got this bar in December but, I was using other body cleansers then so, I just started using this soap this month itself & I am really liking it a lot! It has a creamy lather, it doesn't leave my skin dry, it smells pleasant & the combination of minimal ingredients makes it budget friendly too which is great because a lot of you have been asking me about budget-friendly soaps that don't contain any nasties so, this can be a great option! °• All Nytarra soaps cost ₹200/- each + shipping & one bar can last you 20-30 days depending on the weight of the soap as it can weigh anything between 90-110 grams. •° To place your order, you can simply message @nytarra on Instagram 🚿 °• Also, Happy Holi babes!! Wishing you lots of joy & a colorful life 🌈 : #nytarra #cpsoap #lavendersoap #lavender #coldprocesssoap #holi2019 #happyholi #soapsofinstagram
utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Up until January, I was happily popping vitamin c pills but, eventually, I started looking for holistic ways to build my immunity as the mere thought of taking a pill everyday for the rest of my life, wasn't sitting well with me anymore.
•°
Now, I try to take better care of my health through wholesome meals & lately, I have incorporated Kshemya's Immunity Bliss into my daily routine too. It's a therapeutic blend lovingly handmade by Kruchika of @kshemyaaa to balance Kapha Dosha in the body. It has turmeric, almond, cardamom, ashwagandha, licorice root, black pepper & nutmeg. The recipe is an ayurvedic one, aimed at boosting immunity against flu & strengthening the heart. Additionally, it may also help with tonsillitis, stress & insomnia.
°•
This blend was launched during winters so, it was recommended to be taken with a cup of warm milk before sleeping but, now that it's spring, I have started consuming it in the morning after breakfast between 6am-10am which is the Kapha time of the day according to the ayurvedic clock so, the heat of this blend doesn't overheat my body. I take 1/4th tsp of this blend with 1 tsp organic raw honey by #ysbeefarms which is available on @amazondotin 🐝 I am planning to travel in a couple of days so, I'll be pre-mixing both in a small jar & taking it along with me (like in the picture above).
•°
As far as the results go, I have neither missed my vitamin c pills nor have I fallen sick like a lot of people did when spring began & that's a major victory for me 😊 Plus, it tastes soooo gooood with milk but, it tastes HEAVENLY with raw honey....the grounding spices & the crunch of raw almonds...ufff...I don't even feel like eating any sugary snack or sweets nowdays because of the satisfaction this blend gives to my tongue every morning 🍯
°•
To know more about this blend, you can contact @kshemyaaa although she makes seasonal blends so, this might not be available anymore. But, she's already taking pre-orders till 23rd March for her Gulkand which is a preserve made with fresh hand-picked desi gulaab, aimed at reducing excess body heat during summers 🌹

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna The original formula of Happy Underarms Salve by @rawbeauty2018 “had” been my favourite deodorant for the longest time but, recently they launched their new formula of Happy which replaces baking soda with rhassoul clay & epsom salt & this new version has become my new favourite now ☺️
°
Sunayana's intention behind this change was to make Happy's application non-irritating for people with sensitive underarms because baking soda can be sensitising for some people but, my love for this new formula is because of some additional features:
°•
Firstly, when baking soda reacts with a lot of sweat, it produces a mild yet yucky odor of rotten potatoes at the end of the day (I have hyperhidrosis so, I sweat truckloads). This odor is non-existent with this new formula!
•°
Secondly, the clay absorbs some of my sweat because my underarms have not been feeling as wet as they used to feel (This doesn't mean that this deodorant will prevent sweating. It's not an antiperspirant!).
°•
Thirdly, just look at that grounding earthy shade that rhassoul brings to this blend....it brings me so much peace 🌱
•°
The rest of the features remain the same. It doesn't clump during application, doesn't feel greasy, doesn't stain your clothes & the fragrance lasts from morning till night.... sometimes even till the next morning 🌞 To use it, you simply need to apply a little bit on clean underarms just like a balm.
°•
Ingredients: Rhassoul clay, epsom salt, organic arrowroot, organic coconut oil, unrefined beeswax, blend of organic essential oils of lemon, cedarwood, patchouli & geranium.
•°
It comes in a small, thick-walled, leak-proof glass jar (very easy to travel with), smells sweet + citrusy + herby + floral + earthy & definitely makes me very happy 😄
°•
Deodorizing Happy Underarms Salve (New Formula) is priced at ₹390/- for 35gm & can be purchased from @rawbeauty2018 by messaging them directly 💗

utkarshini Utkarshini Khanna Fresh Fruit & Cream Tart Recipe from @poojadhingra 's book: Can't Believe It's Eggless 💗 The original recipe is for 24 tarts but, I scaled it down to 6 tarts & converted the recipe from grams to tablespoons.
•
°
1. Sift together 3 heaped tablespoons icing sugar & 10 heaped tablespoons maida / refined flour in a bowl.
°
2. Take a 100 gm slab of amul butter & cut it in half because we only need 50 gm. Divide this 50 gm butter into small cubes & add to the flour & sugar mixture.
°
3. Mix everything with your fingers till you get a crumbly flour mixture like bread crumbs.
°
4. Mix 1 tablespoon milk with 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract & add this liquid to the flour mixture. Knead a dough. Don't over-knead.
°
5. Wrap the dough in cling wrap or a tight plastic bag & refrigerate for 2 hours. I kept the whipping cream, whisk & bowl in the freezer during this step.
°
6. Grease the tart moulds with butter. I couldn't find mine so I used teeny tiny steel bowls.
°
7. Flatten the dough with a rolling pin, place the dough sheet over the tart moulds & press down evenly on all sides. Don't worry if there are tears or cracks. We can always patch that area with more dough.
°
8. Preheat the oven to 180C & while this is happening, keep the lined tart moulds in the fridge. Once the oven is ready, take the moulds out of the fridge, trim the excess dough off the edges with a knife, prick the base with a fork & bake the tart shells for 15 mins or until golden browned.
°
9. Once done, allow them to come to room temperature before demoulding. Till this is happening, whip up your cream & chop up whichever fruit you want to use.
°
10. Demould the tart shells. Fill some fruit, top with the whipped cream & garnish with some more fruit. I used fresh pomegranate & even squeezed some of them in the cream!
°
This is one of the tastiest things I have ever baked. The texture of the shell is perfectly crisp & it tastes like vanilla cookies 🍪
