BETA CAROTENE 🥕.
🔺Il betacarotene è un carotenoide, cioè uno dei pigmenti vegetali (di colore rosso, giallo e arancione) che sono precursori della vitamina A (retinolo).
Il betacarotene, come tutti i carotenoidi, è liposolubile oltre che sensibile alla luce e al calore. Viene convertito in vitamina A all’interno del piccolo intestino e va poi a depositarsi nel fegato che provvederà a rilasciarlo poco alla volta, in base alle esigenze dell’organismo.
🔻 Il betacarotene è importante per il nostro organismo dal punto di vista nutrizionale. È anzitutto un ottimo antiossidante, capace dunque di contrastare l’insorgenza dei radicali liberi, ed è una primaria fonte di vitamina A, che ha influssi benefici sulla vista e sulla pelle e che permette alle ossa di crescere in modo omogeneo. Per questo una giusta assunzione di betacarotene è consigliabile soprattutto per i bambini e giovani nell’età della crescita.
I benefici del betacarotene aumentano in caso di assunzione contemporanea di vitamina C, vitamina E e zinco.

the best things are the most difficult, but this does not mean that they are impossible to achieve! sometimes they only require only more hard work, believe in themselves and having the right perseverance overcoming the obstacles, you can falling, for sure soon or late you can fail, it's a reality nobody is perfect, no all day can be your day, but when you fail you always getting up and try again and again, you can fail 1000 times if it's neccessary but you never give up until you do it and realize the impossible become possible, learn from your failure, becouse every man of success as gone through the failures, success is not a way all down, success it's a climb through hell and only a few are able to get out winners of it only with a few scars, but still manage to overcome it, you will not see many friends along this road, indeed many will hate you because you are managing to go beyond where they have failed. but in any case fuck them and continue your way because the winners do not have time to waste with those who do not support them, and they cannot afford to listen to their negative bullshit. see many ask me why you like to motivate and inspire people? well... see many people like to see others on the ground, see them fail, so I like to help them getting up and give them the right motivation neccessary to finding the strenght and discover all tool that there are already inside you, but you need only start working it, for this is important that you have to believe in yourself, with all yourself enough to be the person you want to become and be remembered, maybe it won't happen as fast as you'd like, but if you don't give up and work hard... maybe it won't be today... maube it won't be tomorrow... but a day, your day will come. As promised... holiday lower body workout 🙌🏼👏🏼 *SWIPE*
A few unforeseen circumstances have meant I haven’t got to the gym as much as I’d have liked on this holiday but it’s not the end of the world and I’m using that as a good break and a rest from training (which was much needed to be fair!). Anyway I’m back at it today and here’s what I did...
✨ 1a Elevated heel goblet squats 15 reps ✨ 1b Romanian deadlifts 15 reps
1 min rest in between 4 sets
✨ 2 Leg press - 10-12 reps 4 sets, 1min 30 secs rest in between
✨ 3a Glute hyperextensions (I think that’s what they’re called???) 15 reps ✨ 3b Bulgarian split squats 10-12 reps each leg
1 min rest in between, 3 sets ✨ 4 Single leg hip thrusts - 10-12 reps, 3 sets, 1 min rest in between.
And thats you finished! Such a good workout to get up a sweat, especially in the 30 degree Cyprus heat! Holiday season and summer is upon us and some people find it daunting to choose the right things to eat while away. Let’s be honest there’s not one set menu of ‘healthy’ things to stick to and really you shouldn’t worry about calories at all while away. I was cutting for 6 months before my holiday and stopped my cut as I went away so I can enjoy the experience rather than being focused on macros etc (as that’s not the be all and end all of life!). Granted I’ll have put on some weight once I get back home but it’s nothing I can’t sort out! While on holiday I’ve enjoyed a few naughty treats and big meals but I’ve also mixed that with lighter/ healthier options as balance is key. I’m here until Wednesday so will be making the most of my time to eat all the Greek/ Cypriot food I can 😋🙌🏼
