... .... We borrowed the text.. Nattaporn needs you help - nine year old Thai girl needs an artificial bone ... The mother of a young amputee girl in Phichit, who lost her left leg two years ago because of cancer, is asking for help to give her daughter a bone prosthesis for better mobility.
The mother says that doctors were forced to amputate the left leg of her 9-year-old daughter Nattaporn two years ago to save her life. After the girl fell and broke her left leg, doctors diagnosed bone cancer and recommended amputation to prevent future recurring cancer.
The mother says that her daughter took her own decision to amputate, did not give up and has since tried to live her life normally. The family lives in Phichit's Pho Thale district, and the girl is now in fourth grade at Ban Noi School.
One of the girl's teachers says she is a good student and has been active despite the amputation. The mother says that her daughter must visit doctors regularly and need a new crutch. Because the family is poor, the mother says she would welcome help to the medical costs, a new crutch and perhaps a bone prosthesis for the girl.
The mother's telephone number is 06 5010 1825. ...
