With today’s full moon I wanted to make sure I am releasing anything that is no longer serving me. I recommend you doing the same. It is easy to get caught up in your thyroid condition and forget the positive things you have.
Even if you feel at your lowest today, release those emotions. Bring in positivity and why you are grateful. I know it can be hard, especially when you don’t feel the greatest. But I am sure you can think of at least three things. For example, I have a place to sleep at night, I have food to eat, and I am able to read, write, and talk.

The scale isn't the end all be all to measure your health, and is actually not the most accurate measure most of the time.✨⠀
In fact, it's one of the least important tools. ⠀
These NSV (non-scale victories) are significantly more important . ⠀
You are exercising on a regular basis and actually enjoying it. Have you experienced that mindset shift yet? It's exhilarating. 🏄🏽♀️⠀
Feeling more energized, naturally. When you aren't relying on caffeine to get through the day because you're eating better, getting more sleep and fitting in that exercise, you know you're doing better. 🧘🏿♀️⠀
The most important though? Your relationship with food has improved. You feel satisfied but aren't overeating or binge eating. When you've accomplished this, everything else will fall into place. 🍿
Today is the full moon and you know what that means, it is time to release what is not serving you. My full moon practice consists of writing down any fears, emotions, or anything holding me back. I then say what I wrote out loud and burn the paper. I also write what I am grateful for in my journal. This will help bring in positive energy.
Even if you feel your life is out of control, there are still things to be grateful for. Whether it is having a place to sleep at night, food to eat, or loves ones, you can think of something.

Sometimes all you need is a little sunshine!⠀
Life update: I’ve been working my butt off at my new job. I work as a student nurse on a surgical ward doing pre-op and post-op care for day surgeries. It’s been ridiculously fun and I absolutely love my profession!⠀
But I’m pretty beat, it’s been tiring getting used to 12hr shifts of physically and mentally exhausting work. So this weekend I’m headed on a much needed vacation in search of sunshine and good times!⠀
It hasn’t been sunny much here in BC lately, but I have a feeling if I put some positive mojo in my journal and mind, that the summer weather will show up! ☀️😂⠀
This layout is absolutely perfect for my life right now! I love how it turned out! I’ve been branching out with new calligraphy fonts and more realistic nature sketches! Thinking this might stick around for a while 😋⠀
