Ella se la vive conmigo en la cocina, y cuando veo todo su afán para cocinar y su esmero en la preparación de sus alimentos, literalmente me derrito! • En la mañana hicimos una excepción a nuestra regla. Los Hot Cakes son desayuno de fin de semana, pero ya saben que a veces los lunes pueden ser algo difícil, así que decidimos endulzar la mañana con estas simpáticas caritas. • La receta no tiene mucho chiste, pero es sencilla y rápida. Cómo siempre aquí vamos al tanteo, así que no tengo medida exacta de los ingredientes
Aprox. 1 T de Harina sin gluten
1 Huevo de chía o huevo de rancho (no, huevo comercial no. Y no, no da igual, para nada. Hay un abismo de diferencia entre un huevo de rancho y un huevo comercial, tanto que podemos decir que en común sólo tienen el nombre). 1 pizca de Polvo para hornear + 1 pizca de bicarbonato + 1 c de vinagre de manzana (sobre todo si usas el huevo de chía, esto te ayuda a obtener una masa ligera y esponjosa)
1 c de azúcar de coco
Leche vegetal casera al gusto, hasta obtener una textura homogénea y no demasiado espesa.
Mezcla todos los ingredientes con un globo.
Vierte la mezcla en un sartén caliente y ligeramente engrasado (yo usé un poco de aceite de coco). Usa un cucharón para realizar las caritas, y una cucharadita para los ojos 👀 y la boca 👄. Arma tus Hot Cakes, ponle fruta 🍈 🍎 🍐 🍍, disfrútalos y corre a la escuela que ya se te hizo tarde! .

I loved every minute of my 2 rounds of 21 days of workouts. 21 + 21 = 42, so that was 42 days of straight workouts!! I feel so happy to complete those workouts & push myself to show up & work harder everyday. My upper body is finallyyy feels strong, my abs are totally playing peek a boo & my skin has never been so clear. But beyond those physical results my energy levels are high, I naturally wake early every am & I feel way more balanced. I also moved up to heavier weights & accomplished REAL push-ups!! All of that was the result of just 30 minutes a day & following simple nutrition. Im not the only one who is getting these kind of results either, my bootcamp girls are going strong & kicking butt.

Woke up this morning ready to start the week! I logged on to my computer and started going through work emails (per usual) and made a snap decision to take a 15 minute break and make some more nut milk for coffee and tea this week. Unfortunately I realized that I'm almost completely out of raw nuts 🤦🏻♀️ I only had Brazil nuts in the pantry... So Brazil nut milk it was! 🌰🥛 One pro to using Brazil nuts is that I didn't have to soak them before blending! Just dumped them in my blender along with filtered water, some vanilla, and monk fruit sweetener. Rich and creamy nut milk in only a few minutes!

@juicevibes_cary is the to go place when we visit Cary. I got a punch card and everything lol. I got ‘Landshark’ which contains apple, spinach, kale, cilantro, pineapple, lemon, lime, ginger. Hunter got ‘Pitaya Power’ which contains pitaya, apple juice, agave, pineapple and strawberries. We were hooked because it was so good, not to sweet, and super refreshing. We went back the next day ⭐️
Next door to @juicevibes_cary was @dicednc !! I got the Avocado BLT (fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon, grape tomatoes & croutons with our Avocado Bacon Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette) and Hunt got Paradise Found
(feta cheese, fresh cut strawberries and apples, mandarin oranges, craisins, walnuts & sunflower seeds with our Balsamic or Raspberry Vinaigrette). The bowls were a good size (it might not look like it in the picture lol) I was soo full and satisfied after. We sat outside and soaked in the sun, sipped on our drink, and ate our food.
