You can’t wear shorts; your legs are too fat and your scars are gross! 🤮
Who’s decided at one point or another they are never wearing shorts during the summer again? ✋🏻✋🏻 That was me up to about a month ago.
Bike shorts are in this season and the first time I saw them I was like, “Oh hell no. There’s no way I can wear those.” But on one brave day I ordered a pair online from Aerie with the mentality of, “I’ll just take them back when I see how terrible I knew I’d look in them.” Then they came in the mail. I tried them on. And not going to lie, I was feeling it.
They’ve sat on my shelf for a while now, but tonight I felt compelled to pull me out - hairy and scarred legs and all - and wear them out for a bit.
And guess what? I was feeling them. Maybe I can wear shorts. Why? Because I said I could.
Bringing this back for #transformationtuesday • no one’s real life looks like their Instagram, no one’s life is posed/edited/smiley/visually pleasing all the time. And I mean thank God, right? “Perfect” is so passé. (I’ve tagged some of my fav instas that brighten my day💕)
