This was an assignment for my drawing 1 class. It always helps to learn the basics. i generally don't touch charcoal and haven't touched it since elementary school but I gotta say ,I like the look and function of it. It was a personal project so I decided to draw an Atlas moth, cus I love moths. ended up giving the class a biology lesson as well. I did a self portrait too and I may post it later. Charcoal is a fast medium for me, depending on the drawing size. I fell in love with it but weather or not I work with it more is up for debate.its very messy, but the value you can get out of itis amazing. Plus I need to use up this pastel paper.
Here are some happy pups in their furever homes!!! In order of appearance: Big Ben, Betsy practicing yoga, Ace formerly known as Bucky, and Tina formerly known as Bo! 😍 These pups all have fantastic lives now thanks to the fabulous people who have rescued them 😁

Sable, the 5yr old Teacup Pomeranian. Trying to lose a few lbs after realizing that 90% of his belly touches the ground when he sits. Doin 150 high-five arm extensions each day until he gets back to weight. Your encouragement is appreciated.
