This face is from yesterday.
I think I finally figured out the best application method for me with the Uoma foundation!
1. Apply a small amount and build a little bit. You'd think this would seem obvious, but YouTubers make it look like they're putting on a ton when they do it! And 2. Apply with fingers! This made a HUGE difference for me in the way my skin absorbed it. I followed it with a quick brush to blend but the initial finger application was key. (And I learned that from a Tati video!)
Doing this doesn't give me completely solid coverage, but I think it looks pretty good! I'll continue to experiment with it to see what works best for my skin. Makeup is fun!

When I was younger, preteen-teenager, I would come in after school and tell my mom about my day. I was always an open book...mostly. As I would tell her about my day I had a habit of sitting on the counter and she would always, always, always tell me, “Allyssa Marie! Get off the counter.” I can hear her voice and tone now. I would promptly get off as I was told, but still do it again the next day or so. My ENTIRE life I have struggled with my mornings!
As a kid I had to walk to one elementary school to catch the bus to the other elementary school across town. I can’t tell you how many times, after leaving the house late, I’d ALMOST get to the first school just to see the bus going to my school pulling away — without me 😣
In high school my house practically sat on school grounds, and I would literally NOT get out of bed till I heard the first homeroom bell going off 😴 ...again, perpetually late!
As an adult, I struggle with getting out the door in time, often late to work, rushed, chaotic, and often snappy toward people who don’t deserve it - like my kids 😔
I recognize the value in taking control of my mornings - and I also recognize the struggle... for me.
Here’s the thing: I’m consistently present. I’m consistently a hard worker. I’ve consistently worked on my health & fitness. And there are several other things I can add to that list... but I know if I can just take control of my mornings, even all those things will just. get. better.
Starting July 29th I’m making an OFFICIAL COMMITMENT to myself: 100 workouts and they will ALL happen in the morning, before anything else in my day!
I invite you to make this commitment with me... whether your struggle is the morning like me, or simply sticking to a health & fitness routine... this commitment might be just what you need! I know I can’t wait to see how my days transform! Don’t worry about the plans... I got you covered! Your role is the commitment. Who’s in?

Pour cela, vous pouvez formuler votre nouveau rituel de la manière suivante : « Quand j’aurai envie de .........., ce que je ferai sera ............, car cela me permettra de............. »
En reprenant mon exemple, cela donne: « Quand j’aurai envie de grignoter en milieu d’après-midi parce que je m’ennuie, ce que je ferai sera de sortir me promener pour me changer les idées, car cela me permettra de prendre l’air avant de revenir écrire et boire un thé. »
