When I was a little boy my dad would take me fishing at the reservoir outside of town. We’d walk through the woods to a cove where a fallen log made for a good place to catch bluegill. Dad and I fished that water off and on for over thirty years and I can’t go back to that lake without remembering those times. Today near that same cove stands a tall dead tree and that’s where these two can sometimes be found. Special thanks to Steve for letting me know they were there.

We took the SxS for a cruise last night and it was a spontaneous ride after dinner. We laughed, we sang to the radio at the top of our lungs, watched the sun ease down and across the sky, and we even stopped by to visit my grandpas resting place- a place I have never taken C too. It was a very peaceful and easy evening. We need more time to relax in this hustling world 🌱🌤
